The IFLO ultrasonic water meter is a new-generation measuring device based on an advanced principle. The product uses ultrasonic waves to detect the time difference as the water flow passes through, thereby analyzing and calculating the water flow rate with outstanding accuracy. With a design featuring no internal moving parts, the IFLO meter completely eliminates issues of wear and tear or blockages caused by impurities in the water, ensuring stable operation and a long service life.

The IFLO ultrasonic water meter is integrated with a series of smart functions, offering superior management capabilities:

1. Drip-Level Measurement Accuracy: Using a picosecond-level precision chip, the meter can measure even dripping flow, ensuring no water consumption is missed.
2. Large Data Storage: The device can store data for 24 months, 360 days, and 192 hours. This data includes cumulative flow, maximum flow rate, flow duration, temperature, sensor status, and other alarms, all stored securely even during power outages.
3. Flexible Data Communication: Easily configure parameters, perform calibration, and conduct centralized meter readings via infrared, RS-485, M-BUS, NB-IoT, and LoRa protocols.
4. Abnormal Condition Diagnosis: Automatically detects, records, and displays issues such as low power supply voltage, ultrasonic transducer abnormalities, or non-full (empty) pipes.
5. Comprehensive Alarms: The system features multiple alarm functions, including low battery, empty pipe, reverse flow, abnormal temperature, leakage, or pipe burst.
6. Remote Management and Control: It integrates tiered water pricing and can automatically close the valve in case of arrears, eliminating issues with delinquent payments. The valve can also be opened and closed remotely through a central system.

Modern Remote Monitoring Solutions

Valvelink provides solutions to connect IFLO meters to a central network monitoring center and end-users via a Cloud platform, accessible on both PC and mobile devices.

• Wired Solution: Uses a Concentrator & Collector to connect via RS485 / M-Bus protocols.
• Wireless Solution:
  • LORAWAN: Data is transmitted through a Gateway to the cloud platform.
  • NB-IoT / 4G: Data is transmitted directly through a carrier’s Base Station.
