PATENTS TECHNOLOGIES

Valvelink Asia through its in-house research and development works has developed several patented processes and equipment to serve the industries in the country.

High Speed Double-Tiers Rubber Gloves Dipping Process
This patented process has enabled the rubber glove industry to manufacture gloves at double the production capacity and with 40 % less energy.
The new process is replacing all the old inefficient systems in Malaysia.

Disposable and Recycle-able Light Weight Metal Pallet
This patented product, only 12 kg in weight, is used by rubber tyres manufacturers like Goodyear and Bridgestone for containing and transporting crumb-rubber bales from the rubber factories to their tyre-factories. This product is an alternative to wooden pallets which can become contaminants’ to tyre making and is not environmental friendly because of need of burning for disposal.

Automatic Gloves Stripping Machine
Malaysia is the world largest producer of rubber examination gloves and labor is normally used to strip the finished and cured gloves. Due to labor shortage in the country, most of the labor for glove production is imported. Labor availability and its costs thus become a significant factor of production and profitability.
The Company’s automatic gloves stripping machine is able to reduce the labor requirement very much and is helping glove manufacturing companies to reduce their dependency on foreign labor.

Green Energy Rubber Dryers
The crumb-rubber box-conveyor dryer system to produce dried standard specified block rubber was introduced by Malaysia about 50 years ago. This system makes use of diesel fossil fuel for direct heat energy generation for the drying of the crumb-rubber. With the current global awareness and concern about global warming due to CO2 emission and our local government’s commitment to contribute to reduce the country’s carbon footprint, the Company embarked on and developed an alternative green biomass energy system for the rubber drying to reduce carbon emission and produce green rubber for green tyres manufacturing.
